Hundreds of students and alumni to explore job opportunities at Stevens' 19th Annual Career Fair on December 1st

More than 100 Companies in High-Tech and Science Industries Expected to Meet with Prospective Employees

Though the winter holidays are approaching this month, hundreds of Stevens Institute of Technology students and alumni will be thinking of the summer as they pursue full-time, summer and cooperative education job opportunities during the university’s 19th Annual Career Fair Dec. 1, beginning at 2 p.m. in the Canavan Arena of the Charles V. Schaefer, Jr. Recreation and Athletic Center on the university’s Hoboken campus. The media is invited to attend this event.

More than 500 students are expected to speak with representatives from more than 100 leading telecommunications, software, hardware and other engineering and science companies. New corporations attending the Fair this year include Cisco Systems, Schering-Plough, Symbol Technologies and Warner Lambert.

Stevens’ research centers will also offer Industry Partnership exhibits for companies and entrepreneurs to learn about research opportunities with the university. Stevens’ Advanced Telecommunications Institute, Center for Environmental Engineering, Davidson Laboratory, Design & Manufacturing Institute and Highly-filled Materials Institute, will hold information sessions for executives and researchers.
