Stevens alumnus joins nonwovens company PGI
Fernando Marin is senior director for the business unit
HOBOKEN , N.J. — Stevens alumnus Fernando Marin has joined nonwovens producer Polymer Group Inc (PGI) as senior director for the business unit. Most recently, Marin was manager, energy marketing and sales, at FMC Corporation in Philadelphia , Pa. , where he was employed for 14 years in various sales and marketing management positions. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and a MBA from the University of Virginia .
Marin is based at the company’s Mooresville , N.C. location.
PGI is the leading supplier of nonwoven fabrics for medical markets. The company serves customers globally with a wide range of products, including surgical gowns and drapes, isolation gowns, caps, face masks and shoe covers used in emergency rooms, operating rooms, clinics and physicians’ offices.
